Job Description
We are looking for a Spanish speaking General Ledger team member to join a busy finance team. This finance centre provides service to customers in Western Europe. This position requires someone that can deliver a service to the customer in line with the pre-agreed timetable and will include month and year end closures, routine journals, account reconciliations etc. You will support the GL manager and other team members by analysing and eliminating inefficiencies in processes. You will manage set customers and ensure that all processes are delivered on time and ensure that the KPI's are met for the markets responsible. You will lead by example within the team and seek out opportunities for growth and development within the team. you will try to build up and maintain a working relationship with stakeholders within the customers organisation dealing with all finance aspects. This is a busy and high profile role which requires someone who can be an effective leader and motivate the team. You need to have the ability to challenge existing ideas and suggest where things can be improved. You need to have an accounting knowledge and experience with an understanding of Shared Services concept within a Finance/Accounting context. Someone who is studying towards an accounting qualification would be preferred and who has a high level of Excel skills. You need to have knowledge of SAP and be fluent in both English and spanish.
