Ontrak Recruitment is working on behalf of a leading international bank to recruit a Trade Finance officer to work in their UK headquarters.
Our client has been established for over 100 years and has developed a wide range of divisions in the international markets

They seek a experienced Trade Finance Officer, who is well organsied and knowledgeable, can work well under pressure has Basic to Intermediate business French language skills

Core Knowledge

• Good knowledge of “Business” French, both spoken and read.
• Good knowledge and application of UCP500/600
• CDCS
• i-flex Flexcube and SWIFT Alliance systems


As Trade Finance Officer your main duties will include:

• Providing all round support to Trade Finance Team
• Collating reports and explaining information
• Keeping excellent records both live and archived
• Managing and initiating Letters of Credit
• Checking new documents and document required for credit
• Liaising with Applicants, Banks and Beneficiaries
• Initiate MT700s/ 710s/ 799 / 999s / 707s / 750s


The Ideal Trade Finance Officer will have previous experience in a similar role, be bi-lingual in both English and French, have a good all round knowledge of I – flex and swift systems. Along with a team orientated approach to working and problem solving.
