A dynamic and enthusiastic individual is sought by this well-established international conferences & events organisation to research, design and produce high-level conferences on a range of topics within the energy sector.

Your responsibilities will involve the following:
•Conducting detailed in-depth research across industries such as oil / gas / electricity for energy related conferences. This will involve telephone, internet and journal-based research as well as face-to-face meetings with executives on an international level.
•Devising detailed technical and commercial conference programmes
•Creating detailed marketing and sponsorship briefs for the marketing team to promote the conferences on an international level
•Sourcing senior level high-profile industry speakers and inviting them to take part in the conferences
•Researching key sponsorship leads and working with the sponsorship team to secure sponsorship and exhibition revenue for the conferences
•Producing brochure copy
•Working closely with members of the marketing, sponsorship and logistics teams to ensure the conferences are a commercial success
•Effective communication and networking with speakers and delegates at the conferences focusing on further research for future events, topic generation and building relationships for the future development of the business
•Managing the conferences on the day

Qualifications and skills
•Good research skills
•Ability to learn quickly and multi-task in a fast-paced, exciting and dynamic environment
•Degree level education, 2.1 or above preferably
•Being well informed on current affairs
•Excellent communicator on verbal and written levels
•Being a strong team player
•Knowledge of languages an advantage
•Willingness to travel
