ITN Source is one of the world’s largest footage-sales businesses, holding over 1 million hours of moving imagery from all over the world. ITN Source is looking to add a Sales Researcher to its successful sales operation.

The Role

Based in the London office and reporting to the Sales Manager Mainland Europe, you will be primarily responsible for:

• matching ITN Source video material to customer’s creative briefs
• explaining copyright issues to them
• negotiating licence fees
• ensuring that an efficient service is provided to customers
• following up incoming enquiries with a view to securing the business
• raising orders from ITN Source’s vast library
• meeting and exceeding team sales revenue targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis in line with the company business plan
• clients will include broadcasters, TV production companies, web sites, electronic publishers and producers of corporate videos and commercials

The Person

Working as part of a busy and target focused sales team, the successful candidate will possess:

• Fluent English & German (essential). Knowledge of an Eastern European language would be considered a valuable asset
• A high level of literacy and good attention to detail in the production of in-depth research for clients
• The ability to cope under pressure and deliver according to tight deadlines
• A good general knowledge and a genuine interest in news and current affairs as well as a reasonable knowledge of historical events would be advantageous
• An excellent telephone manner, communication skills, and strong organisational skills
• A flexible attitude
