This is your opportunity to work for the events team within a well established Financial publication.
You will be responsilble for undertaking a successful telesales delivery process across the Institutional Events Department.
The role involves making sales calls to potential delegates, as well as building a team of telesales personnel to service telesales requirements across all events sectors.
Key Skills:
- Strong sales skills/experience preferably B2B
- Ability to sell and negotiate effectively to a client database
- Good communication skills and excellent phone manner
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong oral and written skills
- Ability to learn processes
- Proficiency in Word and Excel
- Ability to inter-act at all levels
- Self motivated
Key Responsibilities:
- Telesales abd direct selling to a delegate database and target audience
- Lisaion with Marketing Manager on telesales and data and linking telesales activity into an event marketing plan
- Liaising with Marketing Managers within the Events Team to gain a clear understanding of the target audience and unique sales points for each event
- Manageing time effectively to work on multiple events
- Update and collect accurate address/contact details
- Compile daily reports on numbers called and number of registered delegates
- Keep detailed notes on reasons for non-registrations
- Schedule call backs and act on them
- Customer relationship management
- React quickly to clients requests and demands
- Organise and follow through on incoming customer queries/registration
