COMPANY
A Deluxe four star hotel based in central London that caters for Business to Business trade during the week and family holiday makers on the weekends. The hotel is large, with excellent facilities including a gym, and has a four star deluxe rating. It is part of a major chain of family owned hotels, offering the chosen applicant the opportunities to develop a long term career in the UK, or elsewhere in the world as it has hotels globally and a high profile brand name.
JOB PURPOSE:
To actively contribute to providing a pro-active, effective and business focused Human
Resources solutions to the Hotel, with particular focus on recruitment and employee
relations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. To provide advice to line-managers on all employee related issues, including disciplinary and grievance, performance management and sickness and absence management, in line with Company policies and procedures, current UK legislation and best practice.
2.To advise managers in issues such as flexible working, maternity, paternity, parental, emergency family leave and compassionate leave.
3.To actively recruit new staff
4.To supervise a Recruitment Administrator
5.To manage the electronic recruitment database and intranet
6.Liaise with external recruitment agencies
7.Administration of employee benefits
8.To conduct face-to-face exit interview with employees leaving the Company.
9.To regularly analyse Exit Interview statistics together with individual Exit Interview feedback and to provide cohesive exit data to Human Resources Manager.
10.To keep up to date with all aspects of UK employment law and best practice.
11.To ensure the successful application of the Company\'s Equal Opportunities & Harassment policies.
REQUIREMENTS
•Previous HR generalist experience
•Knowledge of UK law
This role is a one year fixed term contract to cover maternity leave
