My client, the largest and most reputable Japanese telecommunications company, requires a bi-lingual (English and Japanese) Sales and Marketing Assistant.

Working within a small and dynamic team, you’ll be working on a variety of interesting tasks related to supporting the sales and marketing function, including:

• Help to relaunch and maintaining the company website.
• Design of sales and marketing literature (product brochures, newsletters).
• Researching and developing ideas for trade promotions (advertisements, gift with purchase, gadgets).
• Supporting market research, customer interviews.
• Creating the sales & marketing report to share information about sales activity internally.
• Help manage the pan-European customer database.

We’re looking for someone with excellent written and spoken English and Japanese who is looking to take the next step in their sales or marketing career.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• A marketing-related or business degree
• An interest in or aptitude for understanding technical products.
• Ability to create presentations
• IT literacy in the main Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Team focus
• Initiative

Desirable skills/experience:

• Experience managing a website relaunch
• Knowledge of database software or groupware (Access)
