Job Description

London based broking and financial data firm are looking for a graduate with financial markets experience. Based in the Client Services team, consisting of Account Managers and Support consultants, is responsible for protecting the installed revenue within the account base as well as providing a pre and post sales support service to all customers.

Post-Sales, the support analysts work closely with the Account Managers to ensure that the product fits the client\'s requirements. It is also their job to form part of implementation, upgrades and training projects to ensure that the clients benefits from latest functionality and technology.

The analyst also performs an important pre-sales service, providing technical support to the sales organization for the coordination of free trials and demos where needed. All parts of a potential customer\'s organisation are worked with and involved in the pre-sales phase: IT, backoffice, middle office, and the front office.

Applicant requirements
First or 2:1 in Economics or Finance, or IT with a minimum of one year work experience within financial markets in a client-facing technical capacity is essential. One to two years work experience required, ideally within a support position.
The role requires a technical understanding of Financial software and the ability to logically troubleshoot problems. Experience in dealing with customers and understanding their business needs essential. Any experience with business analyst projects, such as systems planning and integration is highly desirable. A good working knowledge of banking organisational and industry structure is essential. Willingness to learn and evaluate new concepts and the capacity for self-directed learning is essential.

Proficiency in Microsoft applications, and Excel to VBA is level highly desirable but not essential.
