Credit Control Manager
Our client is an International company specialising in credit management solutions.
Location: West London
Role Information:
• Ensure invoices are collected in a timely manner.
• Managing a team of 7 people in the credit control department
• Review delinquent account records (pre-legal phase), following structured collection process determining in accordance with the Operations Director which customers must be sent to legal
• Ensure the current collection process is adhered by all members of staff in order to collect payments
• Liaise with various departments and outside agencies in order to resolve issues in a timely manner
• Prioritise staff workload so that all arrears accounts are contacted and payments are made to accounts
• Implement spreadsheets and other files used in the collection process according to the business requirements, ensuring they are kept updated.
• Provide the necessary support to the other departments and completes the additional duties required
• Demonstrate a professional approach to the needs of the business and adapts to the necessary changes when improvements are implemented
• Establish working relationships with the suppliers in dealing with outstanding debts and negotiating for payment with clients.
• Chase customers for outstanding debts on pre-legal stage or as necessary based on reports from Accounts Managers and difficulties of disputes.
• Attend to regular meetings with suppliers, agents and the most important customers to discuss outstanding issues and build long term relationship
• All duties necessary to support the management of outstanding client debts in line with agreed targets
• Provide cover for other members of staff within the department
Reports to:
• Dependant on your duties you will report to either the Operations Manager or to the Managing Director.
Other European languages, especially Italian and French are beneficial.
Salary: £22k-£24k + benefits (bonus, company pension after 2 years with the company, lunch tickets, company car parking etc).
