Our Client currently has a FANTASTIC opportunity for candidates who are interested in applying for the role as a Senior Accountant for the Nordic Countries. This is an EXCELLENT opportunity for an individual to progress within a corporate and international company.
A snapshot of the role…
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
* Produce US GAAP accounts for Sweden
* Variance analysis against plan and forecast.
* Process payroll journals and ensure reconciliation of all payroll related accounts. Provide monthly reconciliation of salary and benefits by person.
* Produce quarterly statutory (bank license) accounts with reconciliation to USGAAP accounts and ensure filing is achieved on time.
* Prepare and submit information to enable tax advisors to calculate corporation tax and ensure tax filing is submitted on time.
* Reconcile and prepare VAT returns.
* Review all balance sheet reconciliations and certify in accordance with current policy
* Monitor cash flow to ensure cash levels are maintained in line with corporate policy.
* Prepare information for annual budgets and quarterly forecasting.
* Liaise with managers using Languages to ensure the regional objectives are achieved.
* Post all cash payments and receipts, from on-line bank details
* Review and post funding summaries.
* Produce gain/loss report on remarketing activities
Preferred SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
·Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
·Fluent Swedish and excellent English
·Preferable to have lease accounting experience .
·Other Nordic languages are desirable, but not essential.
