Role
HR Advisor with German (additional Dutch language skills an advantage)
As a part of the European HR Advisory team, this German-speaking HR Advisor is a 6 months contract role to deliver two high profile and complex post merger integration projects. The projects involve 8 legal entities in Germany and Netherlands and c.700 associates. Dutch language skills would therefore also be an advantage.
A significant amount of planning has been undertaken for both projects and comprehensive project planning materials have been developed. This role will therefore be focused on the project delivery phase. The successful applicant will be responsible for designing the materials and initiating actions associated with each project deliverable and ongoing project management.
A significant component of both projects is effective stakeholder management. These are high profile projects, which require input from Regional Leaders, Local Management Teams, Works Councils and Employee Representative groups and regional HR, Finance and Tax teams.
Profile
.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English and German
.Dutch language skills an advantage
.Experience of working on HR initiatives and projects in Europe as HR generalist or Reward specialist
.Delivery oriented & enjoys working to challenging deadlines
.Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities – evidence of project management competencies.
.Evidence of working independently and functioning well in a team and matrix environment
.Evidence of networking and client relationship development capabilities – ideally across geographies and cultures.
.Ability to travel
.Bachelors degree or equivalent education
