Strong Recruitment was established by Kelly Strong in 2001 to deal specifically with the recruitment needs of the inbound travel industry. Unlike some recruitment companies, Strong Recruitment's team come from a background within the industry. This means we have the knowledge and skills to understand exactly what our clients needs are. We listen and empathise with candidates, enabling us to offer them the right choice for the next step in their career.
Kelly Strong enjoyed a successful 25 year career within the industry, working for hotels, inbound operators and theatre ticket wholesalers before setting up Strong Recruitment with the goal of improving the standards of recruitment to both employers and employees within the industry she knows so well. She is a proactive member of several trade associations, having sat on the Executive Council of the British Incoming Tour Operators Association (BITOA), as well as being part of the current Membership & Events committee for the European Tour Operators Association (ETOA).
Strong Recruitment's offices are centrally located, within short walking distance of Oxford Street. We understand that every person has different key skills and career ambitions, therefore candidates are treated as individuals, with a face-to-face interview and skills test if required. The same applies to clients both new and old. To start the recruitment process Strong Recruitment will make a personal visit to the clients' premises to discuss every aspect of the job including the personality of the company and department that they are recruiting for. This means we can also offer independent and unbiased advice and ideas on how companies might want to change certain systems or departments to make their business more profitable.
